- The Parent's Journal with Bobbi Conner is
a National Radio Series for parents, grandparents and others who care
for and about children. It is designed to help parents understand how
children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

- The American Academy of Pediatrics is an organization committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental, and social health and well being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

- The National Institute on Media and the Family, founded by David Walsh, Ph.D., is a national resource for teachers, parents, community leaders and other caring adults who are interested in the influence of electronic media on early childhood education, child development, academic performance, culture and violence.
The Institute offers a number of unique resources including: movie, television and video game content ratings; media awareness programs; and helpful hints for parents and families to evaluate their media use.

- The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation's largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators and others dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade.

Parents' Action for Children is building a national constituency of parents
to work on the nation's policies for children and families. You can visit

for the on-line newsletter. The new website features stories of, by and for
parents; partners with expert organizations to offer basic parenting
information and tips ranging from how to find good child care to toilet
training; and urges parents to take action for America's children and
families.
