PRE-SCHOOL DAY
SMALL GROUP TIME
 During
this time, the teachers divide the class into two groups. The
hands-on, open-ended activities they present are varied and are
ordered around High-Scope’s “Key Developmental Indicators.”
Together children and teachers explore new and more effective
ways of thinking and doing. Activities promote language,
literacy, communication, mathematics (comparisons,
classification, number, spatial relations), science, and
community.
